The journey of Lokpriya Music Curriculum begins with the basics of music, including the theory & history of music. The students are given a specialization in instruments and brief practices in vocals. Inspired by Trinity college, London, our curriculum emphasizes on the elements of music including harmony, composition, rhythm, pitch etc. The students are exposed to different genres and eras of music, through Music history and appreciation, allowing the child to explore the world of music within one curriculum.
The curriculum consists of warm up, isolation, footwork, flexibility, Cool Downs and much more. We have taken into account each element of Dance, Body, Acton, Space, Energy & Relationships. The last week counts for a Showcase week, where presentation are prepared and showed in Mega Events.
Our Dance curriculum is unique for each age group and each dance form. We move ahead with well strategized assessments and a curriculum that is always prepared for upgradation with the latest teaching methods executed by our highly trained professionals.
The students are exposed to State, National and International level competitions, pushing them to aim for higher goals, giving them a good preview of what all awaits them. Inter-section, Inter-houses and Inter-branch competitions take place frequently to maintain consistency in their growth. Student’s Health is a priority at GEMS. It is very common for students to go overweight or underweight in this generation. Severe health issues due to lack of nutrition are no longer limited to adults, which is why we give extra attention to the health of our students. In order for our students to focus on their studies with all that they have, we take it as a responsibility to keep a regular track of the child’s health, since it’s always better to we decode the problem as soon as possible to take required precautions and avoid any psychological or social problem that the child might face in later years and affect his/her performance.
